Landis apologizes to Lemond. Now it's your turn: you can apologize to Lemond for all your attacks on him -- I'll forward your messages ;)

If you still are not convinced that Lemond was right about Lance just wait till his first wife finishes talking with the authorities: shouldn't take too long!

The only apology I care to see from Landis is the one to the world where he apologizes for being a complete failure as a human being...right before he puts a gun in his mouth. This guy is a complete disgrace and I hope he goes far away and is never seen from again. Maybe he and Lemond can sit around and eat donuts together. From the looks of ol' Greg, he has put away quite a few donuts in between all of the sour grapes comments and frivolous lawsuits.

Regarding what Armstrong's ex-wife has to say, I can't wait! Why would a dried up, bitter woman who was dumped for a younger, more attractive one want to bring a guy down? Her comments should be about as credible as Landis'. I'm sure she will shut her trap as soon as her alimony $$$ is bumped up.

I can't say if Lance is guilty or innocent but don't expect to learn anything new from the likes of these three. It's funny how people only started taking Floyd's comments seriously when he started saying things they wanted to hear.

Didn't Armstrong move from his ex to the older Sheryl Crow?

You are correct! She is famous so perhaps the rules don't apply. Who knows, Sheryl Crow might come forward with some doping allegations. Maybe she will enen write a song about it..."...all Lance wants to do, is have some drugs...". Can't think of any other SC songs so that's the best I can do.

Cha-ching! Everything Floyd says just reinforces whatever people already feel about Lance.

Kristin Armstrong wasn't dumped, Lance didn't take up with Cheryl Crow until after their divorce. And considering Kristin is a successful writer and contributing editor for Runner's World magazine, I don't think she's looking for a bump in alimony payments.

Thanks for setting me straight. I'm sure she is living comfortably on the $24K she rakes in as contributing editor for a magazine. Also, if she had information or evidence of Lance or anyone else cheating (doping, not cheating like with other women), she should have come forward immediately.

The word of an admitted doper and liar and the words of an angry ex-wife mean nothing, except to those who are already predisposed. Unless they can produce some evidence (tape recordings, pictures, real information, etc.), they've got nothing...except a bad reputation in Floyd's case.

Its an investigation, they will want to speak to everyone they can in order to ascertain the facts. "co-operating" with an investigation isnt like being a witness for the prosecution for christ sakes, it merely means that she has agreed to answer questions/give a statement etc. She could (and probably will be) either denying she was in the room, or/and that she has no knowledge of Armstrong doping. She's the mother of his kids, and they still get on very well, expecting her to effictively destroy his career/life is only going to end in disappointment for those of you who are just dying to see Armstrong fail.

It's funny how people only started taking Floyd's comments seriously when he started saying things they wanted to hear.

I know, its unbelievable. Some of the nonesense that people are coming out with now (stating ADMIRATION (!!!) for landis?! wtf) "Hey, well done buddy, not only did you lie, cheat and deceive your entire career, you then lied under oath several times over a period of 4 years, took money from innocent supporters who were kind enough to believe you and have now attempted to bring down the careers of several riders (NONE of whom have tested positive). But thats ok, I admire your honesty"

James Frey could probably say that Lance was a doper and most of the people on this forum would eat it up and then admire Frey's honesty.

If the former Mrs. Armstrong knows anything she'll spill if she has any brains at all. Ask Martha Stewart (who could take Armstrong money and throw it in the street for kicks) about lying to federal agents.

Having said that I have no idea if there is anything to spill but anyone who thinks that there is something to lie about shouldn't expect her to do so.

In other words if she denies Landis' allegations I'm willing to believe her.

Hi Superjim and Walter,

Sorry, I didn't read the links posted by the OP regarding LA's ex-wife. I don't have any interest in what the ex-wife has to say. If she says good things, the anti-Lance mob will question her objectivity or say she is saying it to protect the father of her children. If she says negative things, the same people will agree with her and start spouting off about how they "knew he was guilty", etc. The only difference, I guess, is she is not an admitted liar like Landis and at least has some credibility.

It's amazing this Landis BS is a story at all. An admitted liar who has maintained a series of lies over a long period of time and has been discredited by his sport chooses to come forward and make unsubstantiated allegations with zero proof, and this is a story? Anyone who would use this to try to substantiate a Lemond claim or as "evidence" of Armstrong's guilt is a complete moron.

Unless Floyd has some kind of evidence to back up his claims, he has nothing. Actually, that's not 100% accurate. Since Landis made these allegations, he seems to have acquired the admiration of d-bag idiots around the globe. I guess that's better than nothing!

This isn't even a new claim that Floyd's making. In the March 2008 issue of Outside, Floyd is said to have told this to the interviewer in what was described as an "offhandedly" manner. Of course, everyone thought Lance was in retirement then, so perhaps the comment passed with far less notice then.

Give me a break! How do you figure she's "angry"? If she wanted to hurt Lance, she could have come forward with doping allegations years ago.

The apology to Lemond was appropriate. I'm expecting an apology to supporters of Floyd's Fairness Fund soon.
