i need a personal barrier to get over...riding to the coast and back in 24 hours is my goal. anyone have the best route to get from SE portland to a location on the coast...safely...flatly...awesomely?

1. Flattest one is the longest - HWY 30 out to Astoria, then across to Warrenton is about 100 miles, add 3 miles to get to the beach.
2. Then 26 out to Cannon or Seaside
3. Then 26/6 out to Tillamook

I think they probably go in order like that for the top 3 flattest, safest, longest

Actually you gotta roll out to oceanside or something to hit the waves near Tillamook, so it's longer than Cannon Beach/Seaside and hairier highway.
