New forum idea: Community Connections?

It would be great if BikeForums had a Community Connection (tentative title) forum where everyone could post local (or regional) events such as races, clubs, charity rides etc.
Good idea, no?

We have one, but its well hidden, I'll move it to the front page, and see if we can get some more posts in it.

BTW, I like the name of the forum! I think I'll use it :)

Done. See the new home page, right at the top. Now that we have a 17K members, I think this forum will take off, i started it when we had under 2K members, not too many were "local" :)

wow, I never noticed it before. hope it "takes off" now that it has a more prevalent spot.

I think it needs the full old title of "big rides and riding partners", or somthing to that effect, so people know they have a place to post local (or regional) events such as races, clubs, charity rides etc.

Just "ride partners" seems kind of gay.
