Road Cycling - Just wanted to introduce myself...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello all,

I finally own a road bike again. I purchased a mt bike 3 years ago, and labored the first two years on it.
Did the low carb thing, lost 40 lbs (now weigh 145 - 5' 9") and found myself really enjoying my mt biking this year. In an effort to make my mt biking even more enjoyable, i decided i needed a road bike to get more miles in and up my endurance. So after researching *reading a lot of posts here* I decided on a road bike and bought one. Litespeed 03 Vela. It will more than meet my requirements.

Thanks for all the posts i have read from you people. It helped me make an informed decision. You all seem to have a good sense of humor and community. I come from a car forum where there is more hate than help. Must be that cyclists are more sensible.
Smilie

Hope to see you on the streets or trails.
