I want to put a rack on my bike for commuting because the weather is heating up and I can't stand the backpack and being drenched in sweat by the time I get to work anymore. I got a basic rack (Planet Bike Eco rack) as it was on sale and light weight. The problem I am having is the eyelets on the seat stays are rather low and when I put the bolt in there is no clearance for the chain on the smallest cassette ring. I tried it both with the bolt head on the inside and the nut on the inside, both ways do not work. Anyone have any ideas or similar problems. I have a 10 speed cassette which I am beginning to fear is my problem.
