Hi there! I was wondering if anybody knows any information on the road bike Marubeni Yamaguchi Adhoc 700/SXRB-7L. I recently purchased one for restoration and I'm dying to know more about the bike. I've tracked down the model to 1979 but that's all I have right now. Does anybody know which groupset came with this particular model? I believe it's a pretty rare road bike. Could someone confirm this please.

I noticed that information about this bike and manufacturer is very limited on the Internet. I'm on a mission to gather as much info as possible and make it available as resource. I live in Tokyo so gathering information from my LBSs shouldn't be a probelm. In the meanwhile, any info, anecdotes or pictures from anybody in this forum will greatly help this endeavor and will be much appreciated.

Here is a link (http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/bs_dc15/GALLERY/show_image_v2.html?id=http://img2.blogs.yahoo.co.jp/ybi/1/ca/66/bs_dc15/folder/480663/img_480663_30232213_0?1258555011) to the Japanese page I found detailing the bike model and year.

Here is a complete Marubeni Yamaguchi Adhoc road bike with Dura Ace groupset (http://www.cycly.co.jp/shop/sold_detail.asp?id=188504) dated 1977. It's the only pic of a currently built bike that I could find.

Here's an old catalog (http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/bs_dc15/30335594.html) of a different model Adhoc bike (S-XR).

Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much.
