I know that there are tons of cycling apps for the iphone but most of them are gps based and requires mobile connections. I'm currently looking for offline apps that I could use most places, including on any potential tour in the future. So far, I got tons of games so I would like to avoid that for suggestions. What I really want is info based apps like the Stanza e-book app. I've already downloaded more than a thousand e-book from gutenberg just this morning alone for future reading. Is there any good app for offline rss/news reading? I've already tried instapaper and didn't really like it.
There is one thing I'm really hoping for, an offline www.sheldonbrown.com app. Is there any decent bike reference apps for the iphone/ipod touch?
P.S. I'm deaf so I do not intend to download much musics to the ipod touch anyway so any music apps is nogo too. That's one reason why I picked the smallest ipod touch, I just don't have as much media to fill it up with. I got the ipod touch for the apps itself.
