I am going to be doing the first day of RAGBRAI from Sioux City to Storm Lake. To get some more riding in, I am planning on riding form Omaha to Sioux City the day before (7/24/10). Is anyone else interested in riding?

has there been any interest in doing this ride? My daughter and I are thinking about doing the same thing but, on the Iowa side. We would probably start buy a little town called Modale. Also there's a team from Colorado that stops in Modale before every Ragbrai, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of theme ride up. The only problem is the Iowa side is dead flat.

Nope. No interest at all. I booked my hotel room in South Sioux City today, so there is no turning back now. I am going to ride up by myself.

There's a couple of guys on the Ragbrai forum riding up old 75 and looking for people to join them. The guys from Colorado are riding up from Council Bluffs.

By old 75 do you mean highway 75 that goes thorugh Blair? I considered 75, but opted for 77 since it has a shoulder the entire way.
