Anybody know where I can get a set of Fixed/Free Brown Weinmann's 700c non machined? I've found machined ones, fixed ones, but not a fixed/free one.

Thanks in advanced for any input.

Bell's Bike Shop will build some for you if they don't have any in stock. You know you could still run a freewheel on one side of a fixed/fixed set right?

Whoa, I never knew this! But isn't there not enough threading on a fixed side for a free wheel? Thanks Scrod.

The freewheel will extend past the threads a little bit but there are enough to securely hold it on. Because a freewheel tightens as you pedal and there is no backward force on it - like a cog when you slow down/backpedal/skid - it's perfectly fine to run a freewheel on a fixed hub.
