I'm camping at Caledonia State Park this weekend. Any good rides for someone who wants to be on roads? I'll be riding a hybrid with smooth tires.

I've already plotted out a nice long ride to Pine Grove Furnace, using Rt 233. Anywhere else? Are the roads to Mont Alto paved?

The riding in that area is spectacular! Here's a ride (http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/md/thurmont/668124000189095731) I've done a few times out of Thurmont, MD, that takes in the Michaux area, as well as the Carroll Valley: two different climates separated by a ridgeline. It also takes in three decent climbs along the way. Simply awesome.
