What do you guys think? I honestly didn't realize they had changed their recipe until my friend pointed it out.

My friend said, "OMG, it is so much better now"

I said, "Still tastes like the same crappy pizza to me"

Frankly I liked the old pizza... I went to Domino's because I liked their crappy pizza over the other crappy pizzas. Now I just make my own. I don't like the new stuff...

Dominos is dead to me now.

Do they give it to you free if they don't show up within 30min?
Then it is not Domino's

I don't purchase it often, but I notice no difference. The shop where we have gotten ours produced a respectable product before the marketing blitz.

new pizza?

why mess with perfection

I think it is better. Crust is, anyway. I can't really tell a difference in the sauce or cheese.

Crust is better. Sauce is better. The provolone cheese they added smells like cat crap.

Just about all the big chains taste like crap, and are usually underdone and/or cold by the time you get them due to the extreme substance-impairment of the employees.

I'm surprised you'd like it since it's not boiled.

I was never a huge fan, even less so now.

The exception to this is the Hookers and Blow Deep Dish pizza.

Hopefully they're using real cardboard rather than recycled for the crust. And Prego rather the Chef Boyardee's for the sauce. That would be a substantial improvement.

Haven't eaten Domino's for 20 years. Regional chain Papa Murphy's blows away the competition in the cheap za category. If I have time to make proper crust, no one can touch my homemade.

I will lump this together with your elitist delusions regarding cycling and music and proceed accordingly.

never ate at dominos.
there's a whole bunch of chain pizza stores here.

There's an italian cuisine restaurant around here that does pizza with an absurd amount of toppings on it. You have to eat it with a fork and knife since the dough succumbs to the sheer weight of all the toppings.

I live considerably closer to Manhattan than you ever did growing up CT. Just sayin'.

Hey, I'll tell you this, the pizza in NY is much better than any of the pizza I've had when I've been in Italy.

^^^ But there is some very good pizza in New Haven, CT.

Dominos is dead to me now.

Dead to my 9 year old son and his friends, too.

They used to love it, now they won't eat it. The 3rd grade set in my neighborhood has moved on to papa johns, which is actually better than the old dominos... which is to say, better than crap.

Us grownups still get our pies from the local italian-american-owned pizzeria.

Dominos is so wrong. Everyone knows that the bestest place on this planet for pizza is the Flying Pig Pie & Pint (http://www.city-data.com/businesses/711449504-flying-pig-pie-pint-fort-worth-tx.html) in Ft Worth on Handley Rd. Anything else is a waste of my time.

My favorite is Beaujo's Pizza. Not just any Beau Jo's though, has to be the original in Idaho Springs.

and I hope they are using real cheese this time, not a polymer that's reached it's Tg

You know that on a bad day that ten miles takes an extra half hour.

You snooty Parsons Punks always turned your noses up at the Bridge and Tunnel Kids.

And now, I have EZ Pass™.

OK you NY posers, WHY do you have to fold your pizza before you eat it? Or is that a Jersey thing?

Not that that is saying much. Disturbingly, i agree with pcad.

That's only if it's the floppy kind that has a pool of grease on top. You fold it to channel the grease onto your plate. At least, that's why i fold it.

Rhode Island has cheeseless pizza, a noncompetitive local mutation that should have been naturally selected (or crushed with extreme prejudice) long ago. That it wasn't suggests that the surrounding variants aren't substantially better.

Best ever- The Academiya on Tverskaya in Moscow. Every now and then a slice of stuffed pizza from Giordano's is pretty good too. I have never had what I would call a remarkable pizza in NY or NJ. I am open to suggestions.

Worst "pizza" I ever had was off the base at Subic Bay (yes, it was a long time ago). Their cheese was unlike any I've ever had (mercifully), and their "tomato sauce" was almost certainly banana ketchup.
