I am finally taking my CrossCheck onto more than just buff dirt. Just wondering how confident people feel jumping of curb sized water bars. Should I worry about it?

It's all about technique. If you can absorb most of the impact with your body, you could run 23s and get away with it. If you make the bike do all the work, you may be busting spokes, denting rims and blowing tires, even with 60s.

Should I worry about it?Naw. Personally, I worry more about potholes that I don't see coming.

The spoke count of those wheels looks crazy though, and looks like the frame has been reinforced as well.

Doing just curb height stuff if fine though (assuming you have similar sized curbs as I do) or virtually any bike if your gentle.

Great riding. I wonder what inspired someone to use a road bike for trials!

I'm 220 lbs. I hop off curbs and bunny hop speed bumps all the time on 23mm road slicks. I'm not exactly gentle. I would not be concerned even slightly on 35s.
