I know that this was done a couple of years ago, but I am new to cycling and wanted to see who was riding where in CT. Trying to find some different places to ride, and possibly find some peeps to ride with. I am Higganum, 25 minutes south of Middletown.

I'm in Essex , I ride through Higginum several days a week.
If you're interested I co-lead Thursday evening rides in Essex with AMC. These are Sho-N-Go, no route notes. We wait and don't drop anyone. More of a social ride. Pizza after the ride

Other local rides I know of
Monday 6pm Pedal Power Middletown- Several groups A, B, C etc
Tuesday 6PM Manchester AMC Several groups A, B, C etc
Action Sports Old Saybrook, Thursday evenings- Faster training ride 18Mph-20 + average from what I'm told
Clarkes Cycles Essex,Tuesday and Wednesday 6pm rides . Both are 16-20 mph

Thursday AMC rides leave at 6:00pm sharp from the Route 9 Exit 3 old commuter lot directly adjacent to the Fire House. The lot is to the left of the fire house when looking at it from the front.

Great I know where that is. I am getting over a knee injury, and am getting back on the bike so hopefully I can make it out in a week or so. Look forward to it!!
