I want to get an entry level road bike. Am considering the Specialized AllezA1 sport 27 for $900.00 or the giant OCR 2 for $750.00. The Giant has clipless pedals included while the Spec. does not. Would appreciate any thoughts or advice from more experienced riders. Thanks!

The Specialized Allez Sport is a somewhat lighter frame, built up with considerably better components than the OCR2 [A Tiagra/105 mix vs. all Tiagra]. It also comes with a carbon fork, which is a BIG deal with bikes like these. I think the $150 jump-up is definitely worth it, if the bike fits. As for the Giant's pedals are nothing to write home about. You'd probably end up replacing them halfway through the season, anyway...
