I took the long way home this moning and wouldn't you know it, just when we thought it was safe to go-a-ridin look what followed me home. That's two roadside freebies in two days if anyone's keeping score.

It's nothing special, just an old Huffy in need of some TLC and a new home. I'll provide the TLC but I absolutely, positivaly, definately, no doubt about it will not give it a nw home. I know this because SHE told me so!!

Some little girl will be getting a nice blue Huffy sometime soon.

Yesterday's find .....

WOW! Two GR8 finds, congrats!

You don't even want to see the stuff I see on the side of the road...
Good to know someone is finding the good stuff!
Good "Before" pic of the Huffy, make sure to post the "after", OK?

I used to sell Ross's in a small shop I had in the '80s. Well-made bike although kinda heavy. That one looks cherry. I think the idea behind the fixed rear cog and the freewheel crank was that you didn't have to be pedaling to shift, just rolling. I never thought it there was much merit to the idea.

I dazzle readily and the oddity of the beast literaly fascinates me.

Can't see what the wife is worrying about. These are womens frames and have been aquired for her:innocent:

It may take a while to get them sorted and eventually she may not like the ride- but until you fix the bikes and then adjust out for her- They stay. Can't miss up on a chance to get the wife on a Full racing bike and a beater to go down the shops.

But then I haven't seen your wife in full Fury so use your discretion.
