I just bought this bike off of craigslist, it is what appears to be an 80's era Bianchi, with Shimano components and a Piaggio badge on the frame. Ive been surfing the net trying to figure out what model it is with no luck. The serial number appears to be 41125874. Here are some pics:

Stem shifters, steel crankset, turkey levers, claw rear derailleur hanger, steel handlebars = entry level bike. Looks to be a high ten steel frame as well.

The wheels are replacements. The bike probably originally came with 27 inch wheels (not the 700c size that is on there now). 700c wheels are an upgrade.

Shimano derailleurs will have date codes on them, so it iwill be easy to get the year of the bike that way, as long as they are original. Many other parts will also have date codes, but several do not look original to me.

Can you take a couple of pictures of the seat cluster, the downtube and the fork crown? Also looks like there might be some issues with the fork.

+1 Fork appears to be bent, you can see it in the original C/L ad. Its only slightly bent, a shop should be able to straighten it pretty easily.

Also what do you think the value is? Its in pretty decent shape, just seems to need a tune up and a new chain. Was $250 too high?

Ive been searching online for more info and I cant find early 80's Bianchi's with the stem shifters like this one.

That's why I asked for photos of the seat cluster and the fork crown. I don't think that's a Bianchi

Apparently, it's one of the early 80s Bianchis made in Japan(edit: or maybe Taiwan). Here are pictures of a similar bike, but in a very small size:
