I have the Shimano freehubs RM65's. Everywhere I look for skewers for a MTB none come in the length that I can see will fit. Seems like it takes 170mm length skewer and not a 135mm skewer.
What is up with this measurement? I measured the skewer with digital calips. And the Shimano site says it takes 170mm!
Can't seem to find a aftermarket skewer like the DT Swiss ratchet or anything else to replace the stock ones.

170mm is the length of the entire skewer. 135mm is the frame spacing the axle fits inside. Different manufacturers specify different measurements, but that should fit unless there's something wildly unusual about that hub or your frame that I don't know about.

I see! Nothing unusual. Std. 6 bolt disc brakes. Thanks!
