I recommend we have "PUI" button available in the "Post a new thread" and "Reply to this thread" screens. When people are "Posting Under the Influence" they have the option to inform the readers and mods. This will allow us/them able to react differently to their asshattery.
It was common practice for people in many of the motorcycle forums I used to frequent to display and acknowledge their PUIs.
I see that due to the time differences many people (in Europe) are coming back from the pubs or have "had a few in the evening" and act like belligerent asshats right about the time the people in the US are getting online after dinner. This could also be said for people in the East Coast as compare to the West Coast as well.
