should i go with 170mm or 165mm......i ride dirt, street, and alot of flatland

170 if you prefer some rideability, with anything shorter you'll be pedaling way too fast to get anywhere.

165 is pretty small. I ride 180, but im 6' 2"

I believe he rides flat and a little street though, smaller cranks are better for riding flat!

definately.. If your riding flat and wnat smaller cranks, but everything else too, then you should go with the in-between size, the 170, but if some one who really knows something about flatland suggests otherwise, i say go with their opinion

I agree with the 170mm statements above. If you are really looking for a multi-purpose crank then go with 170mm and you should be okay.

But, honestly - look at the length of 5mm on a ruler - it's like nothing. So, either length will be fine really.

I run 160mm and use it on street and vert all the time with no problems.
