my kilott has very little space between the downtube and the front wheel so little in fact that the downtube blocks the crud from my face, but i was wondering if there is any good way to keep my feet from getting wet?

The Planet Bike speedEZ road fenders would prolly work for you. I'm currently working on a winter rat that I can ride throw the snow and rain. These will work on a bike that doesn't have much clearance. Also, most real track bikes won't have fender eyelets, you'd still be able to use these. Gunner baby.

clip on fenders like speedEZ and SKS race blades don't keep you or your feet dry.
they don't actually do a good job of keeping the bike dry either.
the only thing they do is keep you from getting that skunk mark on your back.

KHS Flites will fit SKS Raceblades 53cm and up. It's the same frame as the Kilo TT.
