Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This was my spring/summer build.

Vintage Raleigh Grand Prix, stripped and repainted flat black with some cool decals (Shred The Gnar, Bikeskull, Pentagrambike, etc).
Nitto stem with black MTB flat bar, clipped short for squeezing through traffic, with Odessy Aaron Ross pink computer grips.
Jalco GX460 rear wheel with Shimano cassette MFG SSK-2 single speed conversion 16t.
Lightweight aluminum front wheel, not sure of the brand.
Velo slim padded seat.
Original 52t chainwheel with nice pedals and toe straps.

I'm going to take it to the skate park later and carve some bowls. Gonna be sick, breh :thumb:

Breh, if your gonna ride with your seat a good foot above your handlebars then at least fix your chain sag.

The seat is obviously too high if you have to tilt it like that to make it comfortable. And if it's not too high, then the frame is too small. The chain is extremely flabby and the handlebars looks stupid. Any what with repainting the frame, what for?

Adjust your chain slack and put your toe strap on the back slot of the pedal, brah.

yo the seat angle is a little funny

other than that looks solid.. I suggest you get some Oury grips, and a brooks saddle, and match your tires to your grips.

peace
