I just got a free trailer that appears to be in pretty rough shape, but I intend to still use it for groceries (not for pulling humans around -- I wouldn't trust it enough).
I have some questions, as I've never used any kind of trailer before.
1. How does that hitch connect to the bike? I have a surly LHT for what it's worth. It looks like it clamps to one of the chain stays, but I didn't want to jump the gun.
2. Are the wheels serviceable? One end has simple cotter pins attaching the wheels to the trailer frame, but the other (outside) end just has a roundish cap that doesn't feel like it pries off.
3. What the heck is that little wheel and the separate bar? I am guessing that the little wheel may connect near the hitch, but I can't imagine its function....
Thanks for helping a clueless person :)
