Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - Campagnolo 50th anniversery

Hi,
I have a delicate question. Someone offered me the opportunity to buy a bike which is equiped with
the Campagnolo 50th anniversery group.
I like the bike, and if the group were in perfect condition it would be mine already.
However, the owner of the bike rode the bike a lot and the group has lost of scratches.
Especialy the Rear derailleur. Everything works great but the cosmetics on these parts matter
a lot I guess.
The Price for a Nos Group is easy to find out. But a group in this condition doesn`t show up
very often.
It is complete, but you would have to polish it a lot to make it look beautifull again.
Is there still any value in this group or do you think nobody is interested in buying
an 50th anniversary gruppo which is`t in mind condition?
What would it be worth? I unfortunately have no pictures for the moment but may can provide some soon.

This group had a lot of plain surfaces, so yes it can be smoothed again but almost all were annodized, so to do it right will also require taking things apart, it can be done but has risk.

As the decorative parts are just gold plated, I would look at these closely, spares do come up from time to time for silly high prices.

I would place only a 10% premium on a high visible use group compared to the same regular Super Record group.

The gold plate is in good condition on all the parts.
Even if it is very vague, can you give me number so I get a better idea.

Let`s say there is a cinelli frame from 1984 which comes with this group.
Worth more or less than 1000d?
