Thanks D.G. I read all the responses. I just order the following -- Performance Spin Doctor Pro Repair Stand W/Truing Stand And Tool Tray for $151.98 and I ordered a carry bag for $14.50. I felt I needed the stand rateher than brak my back! In addition I oredered the followinf pocket tools --Crank Bros. Micra - 17 Multi Tool $19.99 ( I read a tool review that saud this was good),Park MTB - Micro Tool Box - $29.99 And last Pedro's Chain Machine Kit--$34.99. I think I did O.K. Thanks for helping. D.G. -- You and Fubar are the nicest gentlemen I've met on line! Both of you are extremely helpful! The Forum is a Dynamite Spot! I highly reccomend it to all the officers I ride with! Since I lost all my possesions a few years back due to a fire (no insurance at the time) I've been slowly but surely putting my life back together. It's sort of like being Reborn. When I re-entered riding around 96' all these goodies were not around niether were some Road bikes capable of fitting me. Now since more women are entering both MTB & Road Racing there's a lot more to choose from. Regarding tools and goodies my expertise is limited. I've learned that written reccommendations are one thing and actual use another. That's why I am humbly grateful for your input. Eventually I'll look to buy a complete mechanics tool set and I think Park is the way to go -- if you have any other good manufacturers of tools in mind please let me know. I have about 18 months left to go before I retire and I love to work on my own bike. I used to do this as a kid. I'm still young enough to go on to college to complete my degree in Psychology but when I physically work at something I find it extremely relaxing! Thanks again so much. Please advise regarding your opinions of complete tool sets. Jeannie P.S. I'm expecting to hit the lottery anytime now.So be prepared to help me spend the money on goodies! Can't spend it alone -- much more pleasure in giving!
