Do you guys ever use the "EZ mount adapter mount" on the lock shackle? Because I recently realized around here that you guys don't use it from the pics of your bikes and a few of your guy's pics of your locks....

I found this on the net and I did it and I thought it could be useful for you guys as I found it pretty easy and convenient to do.

It doesn't say but standard sized electrical tape works.

no, the holders are ugly and make noise when you ride

I do this

or in my butt pocket (not very comfortable)
or in my bag

i hate the holders. It makes noise and sometimes the lock rotates away.
Usually I put it in my bag. Very short distances I use my belt. I also used to use 2 wide velcro straps and strap it to the frame like u would with one of those triangle frame bags. That works much better than the holder IMO.

Yeah, the metal thing on the U lock was removed last week, it prevented me from locking up my deep rims to big diameter poles, removing it makes it easier.

Also, the beautiful thing about the mini's is they fit on your belt. No need for a holster or anything. It's more comfortable than storing it in a bag, messenger bag, or backpack 'cause the weight feels out of the way, unweighted.

I wear mine like a medallion hanging from a chain around my neck.

my ass is too skinny and boney to comfortably holster a mini evo.
and as light as it is, I'd much rather have it on the holder than in a bag.

If I have to bring it, U-Lock holster (if I'm in jean-wearing poser mode) or more usually I just throw it in my bag.

Not to mention the wire and lock just makes you look incompetent and amateur. I’d probably kick this bike over if I saw it on the street.

Be careful if you do. You might get your foot tangled in all that brake cable.
