Hi,

My sibliings and i are thinking about getting a Torker tri-star for our dad. Dad is 80 and about to voluntarily give up his drivers license because of vision problems. But that would mean a lot of loss of freedom..... this seems like a workable option, providing he doesn't think it makes him look like an old person :)

any experience with this bike, pros, cons? It would be spring, summer, fall bike in a small flat town in northern montana (www.chinookmontana.com if any one cars)

thanks

I can't comment specifically on the the Torker Trike, but everything else I have seen from Torker has been decently made and a reasonable value for the dollar. My city bike is a Redline R530 that is now a Torker T530 and it is a well made bike.

I'd get anything with 16"-20" wheels, and an IGH, so its possible to go fast without working too hard to get up hills. What about an electric assist for the front hub? Be sure and order the basket for it, if it's not a package deal.
