I'm trying to decide between two used mtb's to add to my stable - a 2001 Cannondale F3000SL and a '96 Klein Pulse Comp II. The Klein has a much better price and SRAM components while the Cannondale (about twice the price) has Shimano components and has had the Headshok system changed out for a suspension fork. The Cannondale is hanging in the lbs and looks like it has a 2X9 set up for gearing. From what I can tell via bikepedia it sold for close to twice the price of the Klein.
Anyone have any experience with either of these bikes?
