ok i live in wisconsin, a 30 minute drive from madison, and madison is where the pacific cycles hq is, when i go by there is a sign that says pacifi cycles, then under it it says mongoose, schwinn and GT, and i was wonderin, are those the only companies they own or do theyown magna, vertical, giant, rhino and recently ive heard mosh got bought out by them, is it true mosh got bought out by them or did they get bought out by another company? also does pacific cycles own those companies i listed?

They might own other brands as well but as far as i know that's the entire list...got it off their website pacific-bike.com

eddie bauers should be nice, we got an eddie bauer ford explorer and its like a special edition thats really nice leather and everything luxury

but back to the subject, i hope they dint buy out mosh because who knows, maybe they'll do the same thing to mosh that the did to mongoose buy em out and turn em into walmart bikes

Well at lesat Schwinn, `Goose, and GT all have higher end bikes that are still good. It just seems the lower end got hit bad.

I also asw a wally world schwinn that with exception to the suspension fork looked very similar to entry level bike shop bikes, seemed to have full shimano tourney/revoshift and the usual array of entr-level stuff. Might be worth buying if they are willing to sell it to you boxed and you assemble it yourself...thats given if your good at bike assembly that is :)
