Mountain Biking - Tips of bunny-hopping sideways?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone have any tipes for bunny-hopping sidesways-while moving and stationary.

I can't give advice but this site is helpful:
http://www.trials-online.com/
It has lots of short clips of various moves and detailed tutorials.

So that's how you bent your cranks! ;)

I only bent the one. And it was already bent before the seasons(I think it was from when I bashed it off a few rocks. A bunch of paint is scraped right off. Right down to some nice shinly steal.)

Are you using flat or clipless pedals?

'the best way would be to first learn your basic trials balancing.
If you learn how to remain in one place, on the pedals, and hop about a bit when you start losing balance than you can slowly learn to hop sideways.
When riding its even easier, just do a bunny hop and at the same time shift weight either left or right. First the handlebars, then the rear end.
Just try it at slow speeds. If you crash you know you're learning....
