Hey guys, I am a bit of a noob so please bear with me....
I have a Specialized Hardrock with Tektro Novela brakes. When I first got the bike, I stupidly oiled the brake pads. After that it started making a turkey gobble noise. I took the pads out and washed and scrubbed them. The turkey gobble has gone away, but they still do not stop as well as they first did. I have heard that maybe I can sand them with some low grit sand paper, but I would rather just replace them.
This is where my problem lies. I have no idea what kind of pads to get or where to get them. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
