Hey all i'm looking at the crosstail sport cause i cannot afford the higher end comp model. will i be able to put on disc brakes in the future?

It is very comfortable bike but you will need new shocks

In a half of an answer to your question - my '08 Sport has the necessary eyelets for disc brakes.

In looking at the specs, I think the wheels are where you will have problems. The hubs on the Sport model are not described as being disc-ready.

Yes, the wheels are not disc compatible. However, disc type wheels (preferrably 36 spoke) could be part of the "upgrade" when adding the disc brake parts..... The frame, and fork, are already set up to recieve them. This could even be done over stages - do both wheels, then do the brakes separately, do one wheel complete, or even just do one wheel at a time, and one brake at a time, until you are done.

If you have to replace any wheels - this should be taken into consideration - it's easy to get wheels that are both disc and pad compatible.
