I have a 2002 hybrid with Deore XT 9-speed equipment. It is equipped with a InSync Odesa 160 front suspension fork. The problem with this is that it isn't especially "stiff" and cannot be locked. I think it has a moving range of 45mm.

Any suggestions for a new front fork that can be locked and that is of good quality? I will mostly ride with it in locked position. I have 29" wheels and Shimano Deore XT V-brakes.
