I have a 2002 hybrid with Deore XT 9-speed equipment. It is equipped with a InSync Odesa 160 front suspension fork. The problem with this is that it isn't especially "stiff" and cannot be locked. I think it has a moving range of 45mm.
Any suggestions for a new front fork that can be locked and that is of good quality? I will mostly ride with it in locked position. I have 29" wheels and Shimano Deore XT V-brakes.

Steerer Tube: Not Includ... more info just tried to start with something that you do not need a loan for..LoL..There plenty to choose from, up to 1200.00 dollars. But you say they will stay in the locked position most of the time, these have 60mm travel and can be locked.
I have used RST on a Mountain bike before and they worked well for me. Hope this helps.
