Hi!
I am a law student in the Washington DC area, and 75% of my commutes to and from school and work are done on my bike. I ride a 2006 Raleigh Cadent 2 and have few complaints. Poor as dirt, so I am stuck with it for at least another year or two. I guess I had better speak kindly of the bike or something else might break.
I've been snooping around on the forum the last few days. Having participated on other hobby/lifestyle forums in the past, I am looking forward to being a member here.
If anyone feels like pitching in their two cents, I have made a post about my hunt for a good, inexpensive set of panniers here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?653098).

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
