Hi all,

i have a buckled wheel :(. And i know you can get those fixed, but i would like to prevent it in the futur.

Any help would be great.

1) How does a wheel get buckled (riding off road)

2) What would be the lest amount of money you would pay for a good wheel. (remember i'm in AUS so could you include currency)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Blue neon. You know what I do when I get a broken wheel? shop around. look at prices on the internet, in the shops and on the street.

Is it so difficult to buy a wheel that you have to ask people all over the world how to do it? do you ask people on internet forums what to do when you have to buy tires for your car? Or a new couch? Or a TV? Exercise a little bit of innititative, think for yourself and get out there and look at some wheels. You'll be surprised at how easy it is.

Yes many people do ask over the internet for brands, and types of accessories. I will be having a look in a few aswell i was just wondering if anyone had reccomendations for types of wheels and what causes the buckled wheel?

Are there any guidelines out there for wheel shopping? Seems like too expensive and critical of a part to just wing it and get any-old-thing. $100? $150? $200? More? How much to spend, and are brand names particularly attractive?
