Classic & Vintage - Monark Firestone Holiday

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Through the courtesy of several at this site I'm getting close to finding the bike I'm searching for for a short story I'm writing. It now appears to be a Monark (not Monarch) Holiday (Firestone). I'm not sure of what all that means (Sold only at Firestone dealers, Firestone tires??) Anyway I'd like to get really good close-up pictures of the bike, maybe a brochure if one exists. Need multiple views if someone has one and original cost and current value today. I mentioned earlier I only saw these in green (primary color) but now through Old Roads site, a side picture cues me that it had a "wood" trim painted on the tank. Also a close up of the medallion on the tank if anyone has one. Finally if anyone knows a history of this bike please advise a site. Thanks in advance.

I have a bike that I think is a Monark, (Monarch). Now I am completely doubting what I have. I can email you some pictures of what I have, maybe we can compare what you want with what I think is a Monarch or whatever. I am selling upwards of 100 vintage bicycles and am having a difficult time trying ot figure out what ther are. I'll share what I have.
