Hi all,

Has anyone tried those air dusters people use in their offices to get the dirt out of the corners of their bikes? You know what I mean-- those metal cans of compressed air. Great for getting stuff out of a keyboard, but would you use it on your bike?

Yes and no.

STI levers, for example, frequently collect dirt, crud and the like in their innerds and stop shifting consistantly. When that happens, a good blast of compressed air often does wonders. I don't use the canned air because I have an air compressor at home.

don´t as you could blow dirt past seals , same with power cleaners - bad idea on anything with bearings that are sealed , or not for that matter
re STI or ERGOPOWER - get cleaned by a pro it´s cheaper in the long run .
