I need to replace the guage in my Joe Blow Pro pump. I have a new guage and instructions from Topeak. Step 3 says, "Remove the plastic bezel and ring from around the face of the gauge". It doesn't say how to do this. I can try to pry it off with a screw driver but am concerned that it will break.

There are several hex head fittings that take the pump apart but I thought I would ask on this foum before disassemblying the pump.

Anyone ever replace a guage on one of these things?

Nevermind! I fixed it.

For posterity's sake, how?

I did use a screw driver to pry the bezel off. I thought, if I break it, I will just buy another one from Topeak. Once I pryed it off, there is a snap ring underneath. It came off rather easily. Then it was just a matter of pushing the old gauge out and replacing it. It might have taken five minutes to compete.
