Touring - Question for Tubus Tara front rack owners

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Those of you who might own a Tubus Tara front rack and have it mounted on a 26" wheel, could you please tell me the distance from the top bar of the rack (that your pannier hooks mount over) to the ground. As always, thanks for your input.
I suppose the answer will vary according to fork and tire. I have a tara mounted to the lower fork eyelet of an LHT using Schwable Supremes 26x2.0 and get a measurement of 19 1/2" from the ground to the center of the horizontal mounting bar and about 19 10/16" to the top of the bar. Hope this is useful info to you.

if youre looking for a higher (lowrider), there is also the new tubus smarti front rack- my lady just got one of these in preparation for a 6 week tour she is doing solo... she bought it from SJS for her bike that is 26 inch wheels and has no midfork brazeons...
I use the tubus duo on a 26 inch bike, and the distance from (center) rail to ground is 19 inches with schwalbe M-supreme 1.6 inch tires.
Thank you kind sirs, exactly what I was llooking for.
