I was out of town and I noticed my TiVo didn't record it like usual. Did my beloved Tivo make a mistake, or was HBO not showing it this week? Anyone know?

Long time since anyone posted here. I saw the series finale sunday. What a show! It will be sorely missed. Just about the best series finale I've ever seen. Now I gotta wait 'til '06 for The Wire, and it looks like a good 12 months before The Sopranos.

 The finale was great. One of the best ever!!!!
Didn't leave you wondering what life would bring for the Fisher's.
Showed you a readers digest version of the next 50+ years.
Its definately gonna be missed. Thank god theres Deadwood in March.

I'd have to say Nate's burial was the most .......
Really thought about death like I never have before, mine and my loved ones. :(

I'm sorry. I figured since it wasn't in the finale and was a couple of episodes ago, that everyone already saw it.

Midgie, you are NOT KIDDING. Nate's burial (don't worry, not the series finale) was emotionally draining to say the least. I've never seen a tv show, movie, whatever, that made me think about my own family and how important they are to me, etc. You could say, "why not one more season." But they really ended they way it should have.

I hope I can replace this show with something even remotely close to the character development, storyline, writing quality.
