I've been reading this forum for a little bit now, and found it quite helpful at times.
I do a lot of my riding getting places, work or the store. I don't have too much time for pleasure rides, although I did take a camping trip with my son to a state park near Circleville.
Now I have a question, so I've joined, hoping for some advice:
There's a tandem advertised on craig'slist, iron horse, tango model, 26" wheels, $275. If it fits, is it worth the price? I'm reasonably strong, but no racer (nor desiring to be), am rather skinny and lightweight (150 lbs.). My wife is also pretty light, and I'll likely ride it with my children more often than her in the short term.
I'd appreciate any thoughts on this, as I'm completely new to tandems.
Thanks,
Mike
