Hello everyone, glad to be a new member of bike forums. This summer I am riding my bicycle across country to honor the lives and dreams of two friends who were hit and killed by motorist. We will be leaving Charleston, SC and ending in San Francisco, CA. We will be raising money for the Garrett Wonders Memorial Fund, for families, as well as supporting alternative transportation by having a small group of friends following behind in a full size school bus converted to an RV and running on Veggie Oil! We are looking for places to park the bus along the way, veggie oil donations from restaurants, support, meals, etc while we travel the 3,400 miles across country. Sounds like a great thing you're doing. I feel sadness for every cyclist that passes, they share my dreams and they were snatched away in an instant. I hope it all goes well and you accomplish what you're setting out to do :)
