Hello,

Im new here and fairly new to cycling.

I bought an old Bianchi road bike that I'd like to identify.

Its been powder-coated in a different color so any decals are gone.

All I know is that the front forks have a B imbedded on both sides and that the rear forks have Bianchi imbedded on the top.

It has Suntour ox or dx 5000 components and the brakes are dynacompe ox or dx 5000.

It also says Custom on the front of the stem but who knows if that is original or not.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Oscar

identifying a repainted bike is really impossible. parts sound like they may be Suntour Alpha 5000, the "Alpha" symbol being what looks like ox or ax. if they are the only Bianchi I know of that came with Alpha 5000 was an '87 Sport SX

can you post some pics?
