i need new rims but i dont know what to get

on which bike though? it probably be useless to bother jumping either of the flatland bikes, they're just too shirt and squirrly IMO, have you trashed the rims on the Signal or the M6? Because you certainly don't want to downgrade the wheels on either bike, so you're definately looking to spend a nice amount of money on a wheelset, UNLESS you just need a new rear wheel, and in that case

Yeah, you're gonna have to ditch the $100.00 budet and go with an actual quality wheelset or else your new wheels will be trashed within a year really easily. There are Alex rimsets available on danscomp for $140 w/14mm sealed hubs. Similar to what is on eBay for 10 bucks less.

Wheels are easily the second most expensive thing on your bike and should not be viewed as a 'budget' item. If you don't have the money to spend, then I don't care what you buy. Really, anything under the cheapest chrome-plated wheelset on danscomp isn't something I would recommend spending money on. Just save 50 bucks more and get a good wheelset. You will be appropriately impressed with the quality.

What's the difference between sealed and unsealed hubs? Do the sealed ones prevent rust or something?

Sealed and unsealed deals with the bearings ... sealed hubs use cartrige bearings so the bearings are incased in metal plates so theres no way they could fall out or become loose and woble ... unsealed are the opposite they are held in between two rotator cups and they can be removed must unsealed bearings end up having problems if riden hard or not properly maintained ... sorry if this is a bad definition its kind of something hard to explain but its basicly the same thing as your headset your pedals your crank and even gyros so once you get the idea you can apply it to everything
