Hello all. Hmmm... Well I decided to sign up for these forums because long story short, I don't drive a car due to a vision problem and have turned to bicycles to simply get me from point A to point B. I don't know a great deal about bikes, and this place seems like a great place to learn about all sorts of things.
I'm new to the serious biking scene, and my bike isn't a spectacular road bike... (Actually it's a mountain bike and I use it on the road). I haven't had much experience on the road yet, I'm still kind of new to this whole thing and I figured this might be an okay place to meet some like-minded people maybe. About to begin the city life on my own in a few months, so I'm getting some miles in on the roads here my current small town before I move somewhere with ten times more traffic.
