I was wondering if there is a website dedicated to S24O kind of touring in the Southern California area?
Living in a largely [over]populated area you can ride all day and not get away from tract housing and traffic jams, but there has to be some good places around.
I am taking my first "real" tour in the Spring and want to do as many overnight/weekend trips as possible between now and then. The closest bike camp site is Doheney State Beach. There are several other RV only "campgrounds" close by as well....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
