Hey guys!
So I just purchased my first ever road bike yesterday (more of a hybrid I guess). A Trek 7700 Multitrack with drop bars. I got it used for 350 bucks and it's in great shape. Love the slightly larger tire and click on and off front suspension for the trails that can be a little bumpy up here in Minnesota.
Anyways, I went on my first real ride down the Mississippi river trail today; did 11 miles and it was a blast with some nice hills here and there. Cant wait to get out and bike some more, I can totally see how this is addictive, but I'm trying to ease into it.
P.S. As a new rider, does anyone has recommendations for good padded shorts or a good seat (my sit is a bit rock-like and I was a bit sore in my perineum area after the ride - going to look for a replacement most likely).
