I won't really say a I am a newbie to bikes but to the forum. I am 36 and I recently began biking to work 3 days a week. 8 miles from the house to work. I have been riding a Huffy Mountain bike with 1.5" wide road tires for 13 years and used it to commute to work (mainly during spring) over the last 3 years. I had wore it out. I decided to get a better bike more fit for my riding. I bought a K2 Diamondback Edgewood LX. I think the hybrid works out better for me. I can still get off the pavement with it which was my holdback to a road bike. I have put a little over 200 miles on it the last couple of weeks. I try to pick my routes through the neighborhoods to stay off of the main roads because the drivers here are terrible they make me uncomfortable on my motorcyle.

I am lurking through the forums to find answers to minor problems.

Looks like he's closer to Trenton.

Seem's like there are a lot of PA people on the board, I'm currently in State College.

Nice bike, glad to see another commuter.

15 miles north of Philly and about 20 miles west of Trenton. I am stationed on NAS JRB Willow Grove. The old air base that is on the BRAC list and will be closing next year in May. But I will most likely be moving August 2nd.
