is the new 2005 Dh range out yet? I was browsing the other day, but i wasn't sure if it was the 2005 bikes. I also saw an AC3...is that a new one, cause i've never heard of it before?

Yeah theyre out. Check out these pages:
DH Team - http://www.phantomcycles.com.au/Content.asp?S=Details%20@ID=2147
DH Comp - http://www.phantomcycles.com.au/Content.asp?S=Details%20@ID=2146
AC3 - http://www.phantomcycles.com.au/Content.asp?S=Details%20@ID=2148

Good to sse that giant are using the remote reservoirs on their DH bikes now. Stops all the crap from the back wheel from going on/getting into the reservoir. Heaps of people were doing it last year with their Giants.

huh...

Maybe look at a previous year. The only difference to warrant buying a new one is the curved top tube. Otherwise the bike is essentially the same as 2002 I believe...(sweet feeling bike for dh though wow)

BTW the ac3 and dh are in signifigantly different categories. What type of riding are you looking to do.

the dh is a dh bike. SOFT suspension. Very plush and a pretty poor pedalling action for trails. It just isn't anywhere near the same type of bike as the AC...

Wait, the AC isn't even a good comparision to other trail bikes. The new DH bike looks like a VT on steroids.

The new DH bikes also have remote reservoirs, unlike previous years.

This thread is funny, but cool.

Man, those dh models look so un-big. Portable Monsters.
