Port Coquitlam to be exact.

I'm a cycling enthusiast although my enthusiasm by far surpasses by ability. Road riding in the summer, track cycling all winter, and unfortunately I'm addicted to bodybuilding so I'm a bit of a clydesdayle.

I don't want to be a schill but check out my new product TrainerMic.com

How does Coquitlam cycling compare with other jurisdictions? (eg. Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Westminster, Burnaby)

Is there specific brand of brakes that are better suggested in wet weather? (eg. upgrade to disc?)

I will see if I can answer all your questions with one post.

Integration GPS with TrainerMic? That would be cool but not everyone has or can afford a GPS system. I'm thinking about integration with Google Earth so you could take an exotic cycling trip all from the comfort of your own trainer.

Coquitlam Cycling? Coquitlam is not too good for cycling however it is very close to Pitt Meadows, Langley, Maple Ridge, etc. all of which have great cycling roads with minimal traffic.

Wet weather brakes? I have no idea.

Welcome to BF TMD. Former Poco, Port Moody, Anmore guy myself. Good luck with TrainerMic. All you need to participate here is a thick skin.

My favorite ride is the Belcara Loop! Where do you live now?

You're right about the thick skin part.

I am in the Burlington/Oakville area now. All the family is in Van area though so I get out 4-5 times a year. I am registered for all 3 BC Gran Fondos this year. Looking forward to it.
