I did my Boston to Provinctown ride Saturday. I have to say it was hard in the heat but did make it. I also learned a lot about me & my bicycle as well as what I really need on this type of ride. The is no question as weather I will do this again but I will do it differently.

I learned I didn't need 1/2 the crap I brought, I learned a road bike is a better choice than a hybrid, I learned hills in the sun suck.

130 miles on a hybrid? Thats like 175 miles on a comfy road bike. In hot weather? That's one heck of a ride!

Try 200 miles during a cool day on a road bike that fits well and has low enough gearing, it will be easier!

I am defiantly in the market for a road bike next spring. I am into my hybrid pretty deep so it is a keeper, especially for winter commuting this year. It is a great bike.

I ran the stock 700 X 34 tires. The bike was great, no complaints.
